During 1998, while working with Bechtel on Dabhol Power Project at Mumbai, I noticed one of my American colleagues reading a book on FENG SHUI. Out of curiosity I inquired of him as to what it was all about, and he replied,   \"It is just like Indian Vaastu Shashtra”.   I borrowed the book and finished reading it at one go.  This created a keen interest in this interesting subject in my mind.   I thereafter imported a few books from London but this did not whet my appetite for gaining more in-depth knowledge.  During this exercise I found out about The Great Grand Father (Bhishma Pitamah) of FENG SHUI, GRAND MASTER YAP CHENG HAI, who is the world’s foremost authority and is practicing this art since 1940 and is well known in the western countries.

I therefore joined his classes in Malaysia to acquire this knowledge.

Ms Lillian Too, who is a student of the grandmaster and an author of best sellers on FENG SHUI, also taught me to a great extent.

I am a practicing FENG SHUI consultant in Mumbai, Gujarat, Chennai, Bangalore and Kerala, in India;  as also at Muscat, U.A.E. and U.K. I have so far written 34 articles on FENG SHUI. These have been published by 23 different newspapers and magazines in India.

As also, I had written a regular column on FENG SHUI in \" THURSDAY \" magazine, published by The Times of Oman, from Sultanate of Oman.
