Studies conducted by American and German researchers suggest that tea can soothe the skin damages caused by Cancer Radiation Therapy.
The Mode of Action of Tea Studies were conducted on patients using Green Tea and Black Tea on human and rat WBC in cultures prepared in laboratory. This action is happening due to the high amounts of poly phenols, which have anti-inflammatory properties.
Black Tea has lower anti-inflammatory properties than Green Tea. In Human WBC, tea extracts can reduce the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1beta, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-alpha and PGE2.
