How To Lose Excess Weight Permanently
Foreword
I met Dr. Rajshekhar Gandhi, the messiah of Motus and a healer of Gargantuans, at a time in my life, when I was as big as a balloon and growing bigger and bigger by the day. My mirror gave me the creeps, I shuddered at the sight of weighing scales and my wardrobe shrunk in size. I got into a vigorous exercise and a near-starvation diet programme. I lost kilos but put them on faster than you could spell F-A-T. I swallowed powders, anti-hunger capsules, joined various slimming clinics and health clubs in fancy 5- star hotels and all that I lost was the money in my pocket and my self-confidence. I continued to remain a ‘fatso.’
Resigned to my obese existence, I decided to live and die a fat woman. But it was not to be so. All of a sudden , I was attacked by severe joint pains. And what was worse and perhaps the most frightening thing of it all, was that I could not write. My wrist ached, it was impossible for me to hold my pen and that terrorised me. I ran to Dr. Farokh Udvadia, one of the best physicians in the country. He pointed obesity as the cause for my noveau problem. "Lose weight," he ordered.
I was back to square one. Fortunately, I met Dr. Gandhi and his wife, Anita Gandhi. And the first thing I noticed about them was (no, not the haloes, I discovered that later) that they were different from all the others I had encountered in the marketplace. Their dedication and sincerity stunned me and I was very impressed at the way Dr. Gandhi patiently explained my illness to me. Obesity is a sickness and like all other illnesses, it needs to be treated. The Gandhis changed my life. They are about to change yours.
This book is filled with the knowledge and experience of a lifetime. Nobody can tell you what obesity is, why it can take your life and how to combat it, better than Dr. Rajshekhar Gandhi. I’ve gone through this book from the first page till the last and found it more absorbing than a fast-reading bestseller. It’s a book every fat person should read, understand and follow. It can save your life!
