Ms. Radha Krishnan

Qualification : BA Eng lit, Master in Social Work , P. G Diploma in Human Rights.

Current position : Program Head - Public Awareness at Arpan

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Approaching various platforms to organise awareness talks amongst parents and teachers in schools, clubs, NGOs, community                               

2. Organizing talks, working out logistics, coordinating with the multi-lingual trainers.   

3. Documentation, development and review of modules on a periodic basis

4. Complete feedback documentation and analysis on impact assessment                                   

5. Creating awareness on CSA through events and media; theatre, internet, etc,

6. Involvement in developing relevant publishing material for the above activities

7. . Involvement in advocacy for reform in law for child sexual offences

§   Understanding Child Sexual Abuse

§   Impact of Child Sexual Abuse

§   Recognising signs of sexual abuse

§   Handling disclosure and Helping the child talk about the experience

§   Seeking professional support to help the child heal

§   Teaching children Personal Safety skills to empower them to protect themselves from sexual abuse
