Laughter Therapy For The Common Man

In today’s time THE LAUGHTER has become rare commodity with all age group irrespective of social status resulting unrest in family as well as work/business place, number of hospitals has increased in multiple fold, out of 10 more than 5 adults are taking regular medicines because of various diseases, more suicides at all age group including student, more old age homes & orphanages.

FAMILY:
Most of the families were joint around 30 to 35 years before whether they were staying in City, Town or Small Village. There were as many as 25 to 30 members living together irrespective of their living place i.e. Own House, Rooms, Cottage or Small Hut and they used say proudly that they have House having ROOMS and not the BED ROOMS. They used to eat together discuss family matters and head of the family used to run the show in every situation as a result all the problems of individual become family matter and all used to sit together for resolving the issue in the interest of all so non of the members were stressed out. This makes HAPPY LOVING FAMILY celebrating every Festivals & occasion of every one so the sickness were rare resulting healthy and almost Doctor’s free society. In today’s time family means husband, wife and children not even parents,
brothers, sisters, no uncles and accommodation mentioned as a number of BED ROOMS ( only husband & wife not even children ) as a result nobody is available to share the thoughts or problems or business matters and they do not want wife to worry with those matters as she shoulders lot responsibility of family and children. This make head of the family keep every thing up to oneself resulting into STRESS , TENSION ,DIPRESSION of recurring nature which turns into victim PHYCOSOMATIC DISEASES such as Sugar, Blood Pressure, Arthritis, Spondalities, Insomnia, Allergy, Cancers, Aids and many more. These make most of the family having large number of medicines in the house, family doctors on priority list of Telephone Diary. Young people also need to take medicines on regular basis as a result less food and more medicines. More ever most of the people are victim of minor or major addictions such excessive teas, coffees, gutka, cigarettes, hard liquors and drugs resulting spoiling health, quarrels in the family, always in need of extra money making person suffer in business, work place, always in the habits of looking around person to borrow money from neighbors’ and among relatives & family. We have notice number of people while crossing railway tracks or road do not notice fast coming train or car resulting fatal accidents as physically they are occupied in walking where as mind is some other place this indicates amount of stress person is having. In today’s time heart attacks & diabetes are very common among youth of hardly 25 to 30 years of age. According to World Health Organization in another 10 years time INDIA will be capital of diseases out of 10 person more than 5 will have either B.P. or diabetes that is why in recent time more Hospitals with all the modern facilities & equipments are coming up in the country with foreign collaboration.

MAIN REASON IS WE HAVE FORGOTTEN LAUGHTER FROM DAILY LIFE.

SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN:
In olden days i.e. about 35 to 40 years before children were going to school not before completing seven years and straight in FIRST STANDARD where as now play school starts at the age of 1.5 to 2 years resulting no
freedom from very early age of life. As most of the schools are ENGLISH MEDIUM where as spoken language in family is other than English and their maid servant speaks different language resulting child has burden & stress of at least 3 different languages at TINY AGE of just 2 years. When they were just 2 months they used to SMILE / LAUGH 300 times a day without any reasons that has almost forgotten to less than 20% on account of various responsibilities at very small age resulting they are victim of various health problem i.e. short temper, timid, anxiety, obesity , spectacles and many a time bigger diseases such as DIABETICS , BLOOD PRESSURE and many others. Even the fitness level of most of the child is below par as
they hardly play outdoor games. The Laughter Therapy will definitely help them in total development of child as it is group therapy and practice in open the benefits are as under:
• Improves Concentration
• Improves Interpersonal Relationships with Classmate & Teachers.
• Makes Positive.
• Improves Confidence Level.
• Helps to face failure.
• Improves Health & Potential in Sports.

COLLEGE & PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS:
On account of competition for specific course & percentage, students are stressed resulting in various problems as mentioned above and below:
• Depression.
• Not in position to face failure resulting in drop out from studies.
• Committing suicide on account of non preparation or under performance in Examination.
• Developed Inferiority Complex because of neck to neck competition in studies.

ADULTS IN SERVICE OR BUSINESS:
In today’s time nothing. You need to make extra efforts whether it is Service or Business to shine out and earn
more money & position resulting in increased working hours resulting in:
• Less Sleep.
• Away from the Family & Loved one for longer hours of the Day creating unrest among them.
• Not Observing food time creating Acidity & Indigestion.
• Traveling Stress at Peak hour leads to Fatigue.
• After some time because of pressure in work load developing various diseases such as Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Depression & many others.
• Family separation on account of ignoring the family members over work/business.
• Premature Fatal Attack resulting death.

Laughter Therapy helps to ease stress and tension. Everyone faces problems in their lives everyday. Laughter therapy teaches to laugh at the problems and makes you a stronger & happier human being. If you are happy, you can keep people around you happy and what is a better task in today\'s world than spreading smiles and laughs.

Mr.Kishore Kuvavala has been practicing LAUGHTER THERAPY since 1995.He has been conducting this every morning at any one of following places 1 Chowpatty Next Nana Nani Park 2 S.K. Patil Udhyan Charni Road 3 Priyadarshani Park Nepean Sea Rd. Timing is 6:45 A.M. On Friday at Vallabh Sadan Bhuleshwar timing at 8:00A.M.
Education Qualification : B.Sc.,L.L.B.,C.A.I.I.B.Retired As an Officer From BANK OF BARODA in 2001.He is also a Cricket Coach.
